2025 Quilts in Paradise Challenge
“Friendship Among Quilters”
By Phoebe Trumpler

Did you know the Friendship Knot Quilters’ Guild was founded in 1984? A quilt block design by the same name was published in the April 1984 issue of Quilter’s Newsletter. Don’t you wonder if there was a connection between the magazine issue and the Guild’s name?

Because it’s the Guild’s 40th anniversary this year and because our stated objective is to promote friendship among quilters, the 2025 Quilts in Paradise Challenge theme is “Friendship Among Quilters."

The design must include a Friendship Knot block - preferably the Guild’s logo block - and the Guild’s logo colors of blue, yellow and chartreuse.
The finished size must be 24” x 24."
Quilts are due no later than the December 9, 2024, Guild meeting.

No sharing! Keep your piece hush-hush until after the voting. Voting will be "blind."  Don't share or show your Challenge quilt to others!

Voting will be at the January 2025 meeting.
The Challenge quilts will be hung together in the quilt show.

Be thinking how you can show the essence and depth of your quilt friendships in the “Friendship Among Quilters” 2025 Challenge. You can download patterns and instructions on the links below.
