Home2025 Quilt Show Consignments
QUILTERS MARKETPLACE (aka - “Consignments” )

We will again be providing a “Consignment booth” at our upcoming Quilt show in March for members to sell their quilted items and raise funds for our guild and some $$$ for themselves. However, w
e are changing the name of our consignment booth to QUILTERS MARKETPLACE. For those who wish to sell their items in the show, here is some important information to help you prepare….
  1. Consignment Entry Forms & detailed Instructions will be available on our website and newsletter beginning in October. Or you may pick up forms from Janine Ward at meetings.
  2. Items you may consider to sell should be handmade only and valued at a minimum price of $25. You will receive 75% of the sale price and FKQG will receive 25% of sale if sold. Unsold items will be returned to you.
  3. Start planning what you want to sell. Such items may include (any size) bed quilts, throws, art quilts, wallhangings, aprons, bags, vintage quilts and so on. No commercial items, fabric or sewing supplies allowed. You may also designate your show quilt to be available for sale while it hangs in the show. Consider how much you wish to sell your items for, but DO NOT add your own price tags. This will be done by the Consignment committee prior to show.
  4. All items MUST be clean and free of pet hair and odors.
  5. Consignment Entry Forms must be completed and delivered to Janine Ward by February 3, 2025. Sale items will be delivered to the show on day of set-up.
  6. Checks for sold items will be delivered to you via mail approximately 2-3 weeks post-show.
  7. Consider volunteering at the Marketplace booth during the show to help with selling your items!
