A day of Gelli printing exploration and play with Lisa Thorpe

The morning will be devoted to creating a stack of fabric mono-prints made on small 4x6” soft gel print plates that I provide. Lisa show fun and easy print techniques using botanicals, stencils, and texture tools. You will print, using paint Lisa provides, on a variety of pre cut fabrics that Lisa will have at the ready. After lunch you’ll use your stack of little prints to create a quick fabric collage composition on felt with misty fuse already applied by Lisa. You can choose to finish your fiber art with machine quilting or hand stitching and embroidery or both! Don’t worry if you haven’t done much fabric collage all you need is a curious, creative mind!
